Kristie is the founder of Petrullo Wine Company, a consulting firm focused on the wine needs of industry professionals, connoisseurs, and enthusiasts. Prior to founding Petrullo Wine Company, Kristie was Chef Sommelier at Jean Georges in New York City. During her tenure at Jean Georges, Kristie was the only female Chef Sommelier at a Michelin 3-star rated restaurant in the United States, France, Italy, and Germany. Before joining Jean George, Kristie was the Beverage Director at Tom Colicchio’s flagship restaurant Craft (NYC); Sommelier at Restaurant Daniel (NYC); Sommelier at Eleven Madison Park (NYC); and Wine Director at Market Restaurant (Napa Valley, CA). Through her consulting company, Ms. Petrullo was the 2013 Spokesperson for the Wines of France, and leads seminars for Vin de Chablis and Vins de Bourgogne. Kristie also Co-developed a Wine Service course with American Sommelier. She continues to curate wine lists in and around New York City, she leads educational wine tastings, and is the Wine Expert on staff at Western Carriers’ private wine storage facility, Wine Vault. Kristie often sits on the NY Times tasting panel and lends her expertise to publications such as TIME Magazine, VinePair, and Bloomberg Business. She was featured in the NY Post article “Wine and Dandy” as one of New York’s Top Young Sommeliers and has been highlighted as one of “New York’s Best Sommeliers” at French Institute Alliance Francaise (FIAF).
Prior to founding Blacksmith Wines, Mark owned and managed various investment and real estate businesses and he was a corporate lawyer in NYC and London. Mark has been involved in fine wine and spirits businesses and activities for more than 25 years. He is responsible for business strategy and wine sourcing.
Nico is responsible for technology, inventory management, operations and fulfillment. Prior to his work with Blacksmith Wines, Nico attended St. John’s University where he studied cyber security.
